1. New Instrument Cluster

Benelli TRK 502

For the first time since their debut in 2019, both models in the 2025 Benelli TRK 502 lineup have received a significant tech upgrade in the form of a new TFT instrument cluster. This modern unit now offers smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, taking the TRK range in line with current rider expectations. Replacing the older semi-digital setup that featured an analogue tachometer and a basic LCD display, the new screen adds a premium touch and improves usability on the go and offers a more modern feel.

2. 'Heated' Affair And More New Features

Benelli has also introduced a couple of segment-first features to enhance comfort and safety on the 2025 TRK 502 range. Heated grips and seats are now available, making long rides in colder conditions much more comfortable, an India-first for this category. Additionally, the inclusion of a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) lets riders monitor tyre pressure in real-time, adding a layer of convenience and safety.

3. Mechanics- Why Touch What's Not Broken?

Benelli TRK 502

Powering both the Benelli TRK 502 and TRK 502X is a familiar 500cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 45.3 HP and 46 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. While the performance figures remain unchanged, a notable mechanical upgrade comes in the form of a new, lighter aluminium swingarm. This change is expected to reduce unsprung mass, potentially enhancing handling and overall ride dynamics.

4. Hardware

The Benelli TRK 502 is tailored more for road-focused riders, sporting 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, perfect for smooth commutes and highway touring. On the other hand, the TRK 502X is geared for adventure, featuring a larger 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch spoked rear wheel, both tubeless, enhancing its ability to handle rough terrain. Both bikes share a robust suspension setup with upside-down forks up front and a rear monoshock, ensuring a composed ride across surfaces. For braking, the duo is fitted with twin front discs and a single rear disc, supported by dual-channel ABS for added safety and control.

5. Pricing

Benelli has updated the pricing for its TRK 502 range in India, with all variants receiving a hike. The standard Benelli TRK 502 is now priced at Rs. 6.20 lakh, marking a Rs 40,000 increase over the previous generation. The more off-road-focused TRK 502X now costs Rs 6.70 lakh, up by Rs 35,000. Meanwhile, the top-spec TRK 502X LE (Limited Edition) sees a Rs 40,000 hike and is now available at Rs 6.85 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

Verdict

The updates this time are a long time coming, and these are not just for the spec-sheet, but functional as well. New cluster, heated seat and grips, and more will add to the appeal of the duo. Although the premium bike segment is still something that is slowly and gradually opening up, the higher price points make them a little away from the regular adventure bike seekers. But since its a Benelli, those who want it, will get it anyway.
