2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 Lineup Launched; Details

The 2025 Multistrada bears the familiar design, and one should be able to recognize it easily. The headlamps have become slimmer and take inspiration from the Panigale, and there are some other panels have also been given a mild redesign. There are three colour schemes on offer; Ducati Red, Thrilling Black and Arctic White.

The 1158cc V4 powertrain has been retained, but certain tweaks have been made. The cylinder deactivation tech now also works when the bike is stationary and idling, in the interest of saving fuel. Additionally, Ducati says that this motorcycle is E20-compliant as well. In terms of numbers, the Multistrada V4 puts out 168bhp at 10,750rpm and 123.8Nm of torque at 9000rpm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

In terms of hardware, the V4 and the V4S come with plenty of differentiation. The motorcycle gets a aluminium monocoque frame with a double-sided swingarm, but the swingarm pivot has been raised to improve ride and handling when fully loaded. The standard V4 hangs off of fully-adjustable Marzocchi adjustable suspension on both ends, while the V4S uses the semi-active electronic suspension with an adaptive system that functions between 10-50kmph.

For braking, while both the standard V4 and the V4S use Brembo components, the V4S uses larger 330mm twin discs at the front with Stylema callipers, whereas the V4 makes do with smaller 320mm discs and Monobloc callipers. The Multi also continues with a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel setup, with the option of both alloy rims and spoke rims.

Both variants of the 2025 Multistrada V4 come packed with things such as a 6.5-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, music streaming, five riding modes, four power modes, and a bunch of rider aids such as cornering ABS, wheelie control, engine braking control, adaptive cruise control, panic braking alert, blind spot alert, and forward collision warning among other things.

Verdict

The 2025 Multistrada carries on with the same formula; a premium tourer that can take on rough terrains if needed. It does come in at a slight premium compared to its rivals, but Italian motorcycles are a different breed altogether, and the new Multi will likely set itself apart.
