Performance

2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4

Powering the Streetfighter V4 range is the 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, a unit that draws its DNA directly from Ducati's MotoGP machines. It produces a staggering 214 hp at 13,500 rpm and 12.2 kgm of torque at 11,250 rpm, with the same counter-rotating crankshaft and Twin Pulse firing order as the Panigale.

For riders who want even more lunacy, the optional Akrapovic performance exhaust bumps the output to a mind-bending 226 hp, making it the most powerful Streetfighter ever to roll out of Bologna. Despite the monstrous numbers, the bike stays Euro 5+ compliant.

Design

2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4

Visually, the 2025 Streetfighter V4 keeps its trademark "angry naked" stance but evolves into something more refined. The front end gets a completely new full-LED headlamp with a sharper design, while the forward-slanting biplane wings now generate up to 17 kg of downforce at 270 kmph - improving stability at speed without adding bulk.

The 16-litre sculpted tank, aggressive shoulders, and sleeker tail section enhance both ergonomics and aesthetics. Even the double-sided Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm adds a visual lightness to the rear, giving the new Streetfighter a striking balance between muscle and elegance.

Ergonomics

Ducati has reworked the riding triangle for better control and comfort. The handlebar now sits 10 mm closer to the rider, the footpegs are positioned slightly lower and forward, and the seat offers greater movement for taller riders.

Heat management has also been improved through redesigned side panels that deflect hot air away from the rider's legs - a much-needed touch for Indian conditions.

Chassis and Suspension

2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4

The new Front Frame is 22% lighter and more flexible laterally, providing sharper feedback while cornering. On the Streetfighter V4 S, you get the premium Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 electronic suspension setup - offering adaptive damping that adjusts between comfort and aggression seamlessly. The base V4 variant features fully adjustable Showa Big Piston Forks and a Sachs monoshock, tuned for both spirited riding and everyday use.

Adding to the experience are the Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers, which are lighter and more heat-efficient than before, offering sharper bite and better modulation.

Electronics

As always, Ducati's electronic wizardry takes centre stage. The 2025 Streetfighter V4 debuts Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) - a system that processes data from multiple sensors to predict and optimize rider control in real time. It works in harmony with a six-axis IMU and Ducati's familiar suite of aids, including:

  • Race eCBS with cornering functionality
  • Ducati Traction Control (DTC) DVO
  • Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) DVO
  • Ducati Slide Control
  • Ducati Power Launch
  • Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0
  • Engine Brake Control
  • Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES) 2.0/3.0 (depending on variant)

The electronics can be fine-tuned via the new 6.9-inch full-TFT display, which also introduces quick-access buttons for real-time adjustments to traction, wheelie, and engine-braking levels.

Pricing and Variants

  • Streetfighter V4 (Ducati Red) - Rs. 28,68,600 (ex-showroom)
  • Streetfighter V4 S (Ducati Red with Urban Grey frame) - Rs. 32,38,400 (ex-showroom)

While the V4 S packs lighter forged aluminium wheels, an Ohlins suspension suite, and a lithium-ion battery, the standard V4 continues to impress with its slightly heavier setup but the same ferocious powerplant and tech package.

Verdict

With the 2025 iteration, Ducati has blurred the line between a superbike and a streetfighter like never before. It's lighter, more powerful, and smarter - an uncompromising machine that blends MotoGP-derived performance with everyday usability. In essence, the 2025 Ducati Streetfighter V4 isn't just a naked superbike. It's a Panigale without a filter - brutal, beautiful, and unapologetically Ducati.
