Hero Xtreme 125R Dual Channel ABS

Hero MotoCorp has taken the wraps off a new, top variant of the Xtreme 125R, the Dual Channel ABS edition. This variant is priced at Rs 1,04,500 (ex-showroom), and not only comes with Dual channel ABS but also gets cruiser control, riding modes and an LCD console. With this, it becomes the first in the 125cc sporty segment to offer dual-channel ABS. Meanwhile, this top variant is available in three colour options: Black Pearl Red, Black Matshdow Grey, and Black Leaf Green, while the rest all remain the same. Notably, this variant costs Rs 12,000 more than the previous one.
Powertrain And Hardware

Mechanically, the bike remains the same, still powered by the 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox and belts out 11.4 PS and 10.5 nm of torque. Apart from this, the underpinnings have also been the same, telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, and now with dual-channel ABS.
Feature-wise, the bike gets a 4.2-inch LCD console along with Bluetooth connectivity features, including turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts. Some additional features include cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle and three riding modes.
