5 Important Features The Hero Xoom 160 Misses Out on
Lacks a TFT Screen

Firstly, there is no colour TFT screen on offer with the Hero Xoom 160, which is offered with the all new Ntorq 150 and Aprilia SR 175 and that too at a much lesser price. Over that, the Hero Xoom 160 doesn't show the average fuel economy of the scooter on the display, which helps riders to get an idea of how much distance their scooter is covering per kilometer. This can be a major drawback and maybe a deal-breaker for some buyers who prefer informational brighter and crisp displays.
Engine kill switch

Surprising, while doing cost cutting subtractions, Hero forgot to provide the basics like Engine kill switch. This is too basic that we can't even count this as a feature, but a neccessity. Almost every two-wheeler coming at this price point get an engine kill switch. The engine kill switch makes it easy for a rider to put off the ignition. But there is no such option with the Xoom 160, and you have to use the provided knob on the scooter, which serves for others functions as well like opening the underseat storage and starting on the engine.
Traction Control

Another missing features on the Xoom 160 is the traction control. If not basic, this feature is available in some primary rivals of the Xoom 160 like the Aerox 155 and the newly launched TVS Ntorq 150. For the unversed, traction control basically helps riders by keeping the scooter/bike stable, by monitoring the rear wheel's speed and incase its rotating faster than the front wheel, it ultimately reduces the speed of the engine and makes the vehicle stable by providing the much needed traction.
Brake lock Clamp

Another noticeble fact is that the Hero Xoom 160 doesn't get a brake lock clamp, which if not a very important features makes rider confident and ensure that the vehicle doesn't move while parked. This is something that is present in the recently launched TVS Ntorq 150.
Hazard light switch

The fifth and the last feature on our list, which the Xoom 160 misses out on is the hazard light switch. So, how would you switch on the hazard lights of it? Don't worry, you can access this feature by long pressing a button on the provided key fob. The key fob serves for mutiple other functions such as opening boot, fuel tank lid and switching on the headlamps and also for "Find me" feature.
Hero Xoom 160: Why Is It Still Good?

Despite missing key features, the Hero Xoom 160 remains a strong contender in the maxi-scooter segment. Its powerful 156cc liquid-cooled engine, comfortable ride with a wide seat, robust design and modern tech like Bluetooth navigation and smart key system make it a practical and stylish choice for daily commuting.
