Ather has finally launched the much-awaited 450X, electric scooter at a price of Rs 85k (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it is available at a price of Rs 99k (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The electric scooter is an improved version of the much successful 450 trim.
Sharing more details on the Ather 450X then it gets more features, a bigger battery capacity and reduced pricing when compared to its 450 trim. The scooter is available in two trims - Plus and Pro. Ather is offering subscription services on its scooters from day 1 and the Ather 450Plus can be availed at Rs 1,699 (monthly) and Ather 450Pro at Rs 1,999(monthly).
Sharing more details about then the battery capacity is upgraded from 2.7kWh to 2.9kWh. It produces 8 bhp (0.8 bhp more than the 450) and a maximum torque of 26 Nm. The torque has gone up by 6 Nm when compared with the Ather 450.

The Ather 450X offers two riding modes - Eco and Ride. And it clocks up to 85 km in the eco mode while the ride model offers 75 km only. The top speed sticks to 85 km/h and 0-40 km/h sprint is achieved in 3.3 seconds.
Ather 450X offers new features onboard like a tweaked Android touchscreen instrumental cluster, Integrated BlueTooth, Onboard Google Maps Navigation, OTA updates, Regenerative Braking, Integrated E-Sim, Music Play, Call Options, App Ride Stats, App Ride Monitoring and among others.

Aesthetically, the 450X looks identical to the ongoing 450 trim but is now available in two different colours - Mint Green and Matte Grey.
