Maruti Suzuki Eeco Star Edition: Whats New?

The major highlight of the newly launched Star Edition is its 18-accessory package that enhances both the exterior and interior appearance of the Eeco. The part of the package includes body-coloured front and rear bumpers, which instantly make the vehicle look cleaner and slightly more premium than the standard version. Maruti Suzuki has also added fog lamps with garnish, a rear spoiler, stylish wheel covers, supported with multiple other cosmetic upgrades to give the Eeco a more upmarket appearance. Moreover, it gets Wheel covers, chrome badging, door visors, seat covers, mud flaps, and interior styling elements.

Interestingly, earlier Maruti had offered a similar Star Edition package, but that version was priced significantly higher at around Rs 37,000. The revised pricing of Rs 19,999 makes this package more accessible for private buyers who want a slightly upgraded Eeco without spending a big amount in aftermarket modification. The company is offering the Star Edition in two colour options that includes Metallic Brisk Blue and Metallic Glistening Grey.
Powertrain And Fuel Efficiency

Mechanically, the Eeco Star Edition remains unchanged, it continues to carry the familiar 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts up to 81 bhp and 105.5 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. Maruti Suzuki also continues to offer the Eeco with a factory-fitted CNG option for buyers prioritising lower running costs. In terms of claimed fuel efficiency, the petrol version delivers up to 19.71 km/l, while the CNG variant offers a claimed mileage of 26.78 km/kg when running on CNG mode.
Variants And Pricing
The standard Maruti Suzuki Eeco range is currently priced between Rs 5.21 lakh and Rs 6.36 lakh (ex-showroom). Buyers can choose from two seating configurations including 5-seater and 6-seater versions, along with AC and non-AC variants.
However, Maruti Suzuki has not yet revealed whether the new Star Edition package can be opted with every variant in the lineup. There is also no confirmation regarding availability for existing Eeco owners who may want to retrofit this accessory package onto their current vehicle.
