Engine, Gearbox, and Performance
Powering the CT110 is a 115.cc engine that delivers 8.6 PS and 9.81 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox which may not be the smoothest unit but the overall gear ratios make this bike a great city commuter. The clutch operation is easy and the engine too feels smooth and refined. The long term reliability of this motor is great and in all, the Bajaj CT110 will definitely impress you with its performance.
Ride and Handling
The CT110 gets hydraulic telescopic front suspension which has a maximum travel range of 125 mm while at the rear, the bike comes with spring-in-spring (SNS) type suspension. The rear-wheel travel is restricted to 100 mm. The overall ride quality is decent and the rider and the pillion stay comfortable as the suspension does absorb most of the bumps and potholes. However, we would have appreciated a softer suspension as the buyers of this segment primarily look for comfort over anything else.
