This is not just new starting price post GST rate cut, but a package to mark the beginning of festivals. That's why Bajaj is offering a total of 3 offers. So, the maximum discount is given on the Pulsar N160 USD - which now starts at Rs 1,26,290 (ex-showroom), and the maximum discount customers can enjoy on it is Rs 15,759. Second one is Pulsar RS200, where the hat-trick savings are of Rs 15,665. That said, the new starting price of this motorcycle is Rs 1,71,153 (ex-showroom).

This offer applies to all Pulsar models except those with engine capacities over 350cc, covering a total of 21 variants. Now, let's talk about the new GST rates, which have come into effect at the start of the festival season. Bikes with engine capacities below 350cc will attract 18% GST, down from 28%. On the other hand, bikes with engine capacities above 350cc will now incur 40% GST, compared to the earlier 28% plus 3% CESS.
The Pulsar is one of the most iconic names in India. Since its launch, Bajaj has maintained its biggest USP - being an affordable sports bike. It's available in multiple displacements, starting from 125cc up to 400cc.

Verdict
This is a great offer and marks the beginning of the festive season. The new GST rate cuts have certainly brought smiles to potential customers' faces. However, bikes above 350cc now attract 9% higher tax, which could pinch some buyers' pockets. Despite this, the new scheme is likely to drive more footfalls and boost sales across the industry.
