Yamaha Motor India will soon launch the 2020 Yamaha FZ 25 BS6 in India. The new FZ 25 has already been revealed and it gets a lot of cosmetic changes and feature upgrades compared to its predecessor. Powering this bike is a BS6-compliant 249cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, four-stroke engine that churns out 20.8 PS of power at 8,000 RPM and 20.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 RPM, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The new FZ 25 gets a projector LED headlamp, underbelly cowl, new sharp tank extensions, an all-digital instrument cluster, etc. It gets telescopic front forks, a mono-shock at the rear and disc brakes at both the ends with dual-channel ABS as standard. Yamaha will soon launch the FZ 25 BS6 along with the FZS 25 that will also get additional knuckle guards, gold-painted alloys, and more stuff. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 1.40 lakhs - Rs. 1.45 lakhs, Ex-showroom.

2. Bajaj Dominar 250 BS6

The second motorcycle in our Cheapest 250cc BS6 Bikes in India list is the Bajaj Dominar 250. The Dominar 250 BS6 is a scaled-down Dominar 400 and it retains almost all the features of its elder sibling. It is powered by a BS6-compliant 248.8cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled motor that produces 27 PS of power and 23.5 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and also gets slipper clutch.

The Dominar 250 gets an all-LED headlamp, twin-barrel exhaust, a fully digital main instrument cluster along with an auxiliary screen, and more. The motorcycle features USD front forks and mono-shock at the rear and it also gets dual-channel ABS as standard. Bajaj Dominar 250 BS6 retails in two colour variants: Canyon Red and Vine Black shade and is priced at Rs. 1.60 lakhs, Ex-showroom.

3. Suzuki Gixxer 250 BS6

Suzuki re-entered the quarter-litre motorcycle segment of India in 2019 with the high-capacity Gixxer series. The Gixxer 250 naked streetfighter was launched last year and recently it also got a BS6 update. Powering this 250cc motorcycle is a BS6-compliant 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine that pumps out 26.5 PS of power at 9300 RPM and 22.2 Nm of peak torque at 7300 RPM. The engine comes coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox and this Japanese engine offers very good rideability.

The Gixxer 250 gets all-LED headlights, LED taillights and an all-digital instrument cluster loaded with a lot of information. The motorcycle gets telescopic front forks, mono-shock absorber at the rear and discs at both the ends with dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS). It is available in two colour schemes  Metallic Matte Silver and Metallic Matte Black and is priced at Rs. 1.63 lakhs.

4. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 BS6

Along with the naked Gixxer 250, Suzuki Motorcycles also launched its fully-faired derivative called the Gixxer SF 250. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 shares all the mechanical and hardware bits with its naked counterpart. It features an all-LED headlamp, LED taillamp, an all-digital instrument cluster loaded with a ton of details and its sporty avatar makes it very appealing. The bike gets telescopic front forks, mono-shock at the rear and dual-channel ABS.

Powering the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is a BS6-compliant 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine that pumps out 26.5 PS of power at 9300 RPM and 22.2 Nm of peak torque at 7300 RPM, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Gixxer SF 250 is offered in two colour variants  Metallic Matte Black and Metallic Matte Platinum Silver and is priced at Rs. 1.74 lakhs. It is also available in MotoGP Edition that charges 900 rupees premium and is priced at Rs. 1,74,900, Ex-showroom Delhi.

5. KTM Duke 250 BS6

KTM Duke 250 is the most well-balanced naked streetfighter motorcycle in KTM India's line-up. With the BS6 update, KTM has given it certain cosmetic updates that make it look more charming than ever. It gets solid hardware and features like USD front forks, a mono-shock at the rear, disc brakes at both the ends with dual-channel ABS and is based on a steel trellis frame. It also gets an all-digital instrument cluster with orange backlit that is loaded with a lot of information.

Powering this quarter-litre KTM is a BS6-compliant 248.8cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that churns out 30 PS of power at 9000 RPM and 24 Nm of torque at 7250 RPM. The engine comes coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox and it also gets an assist & slipper clutch. This orange beast is the most powerful bike in its class and boasts of great handling too.
