It's not been very long since BMW launched the seventh-gen BMW 3 Series in the market. With rising competition in the segment, and offer a much more VFM pricing, BMW 320d Sport variant has been introduced in the Indian market. The 320d Sport variant is priced from Rs 42.10 lakh and comes with an impressive package which makes it a great choice for the buyers in this segment.
It is worth noting the fact that the 320d Sport variant was discontinued from the market in March 2020 and was the entry-level diesel 3 Series model. With this being said, the newly launched BMW 320d Sport variant gets a similar features list which is also seen on the 330i Sport except a missing BMW M Sport steering.
Powering the BMW 320d Sport Variant is a 2.0-L twin-turbo diesel engine that churns out 190 hp and 400 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and this engine-gearbox combo helps the car do a 0-100 kph run in just 6.8 secs. Overall, the 320d gets a refined, powerful and fuel-efficient engine.
In terms of features, the car gets launch control, cruise control, rain-sensing automatic wipers, automatic LED headlamps, 3-zone climate control, powered front seats, and many other features in addition to standard safety features which include six airbags, ABS, ESC, traction control, a rearview camera, TMPS, etc.
Positioned as the second most affordable variant in the lineup, the 320d Sport is priced at Rs 42.10 lakh, which is approximately Rs 40,000 more than the 330i Sport. The BMW 3 Series directly competes with the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Jaguar XE, and the upcoming Audi A4.
