BMW X5 Price Up, But New Features Added

BMW India has refreshed its X5 SUV, adding more tech and sharper styling to boost its appeal. Alongside these updates, prices have risen by up to Rs 2.5 lakh, and variant names have been revised. 2025 BMW X5

The BMW X5 now gets the M Sport Pro Package, adding a gloss-black grille, black tailpipes, an M Sport exhaust, and striking red brake calipers. Standard 21-inch alloy wheels enhance its stance, while the redesigned front fenders improve airflow. At the rear, the tail-lights feature a new X-motif illumination, and up front, the matrix adaptive headlights come with distinctive blue accents. These upgrades are exclusive to the M Sport Pro variants, available with both petrol and diesel powertrains.

First ever feature in X5 for India is the off-road package - which includes four selectable drive modes - xSand, xRocks, xGravel, xSnow. Apative ride height control, which we popularly known as air suspension is there, and it also gets underbody protection and xOffroad camera view for live terrain feed.

Another major update is under the hood - both petrol and diesel engines now feature 48V mild-hybrid technology, adding 12 hp and 200 Nm of torque. The X5 continues to come with an AWD setup paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

• xDrive40i: up to 381 hp / 520 Nm (from 340 hp / 450 Nm).

• xDrive30d: up to 286 hp / 650 Nm (from 265 hp / 620 Nm).

BMW X5 is available in the following metallic paintworks: Brooklyn Grey, Carbon Black, Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, Tanzanite Blue and Black Sapphire. It features BMW Individual extended leather trim 'Merino' upholstery with the following combinations - Tartufo | Black and Ivory White|Black, on the M Sport Pro variant. The standard variant features perforated Sensafin upholstery with Decor stitching and Cognac shade as standard.
