Like every carmaker that announces car discounts every month, Datsun is no different. For May 2021, Datsun brings in discount offers worth Rs 40,000 on their models Go, Go+ and Redi-GO. The latter rivals the popular Maruti S-Press, Maruti Alto and Renault Kwid.

The entry-level hatchback comes in two engine options - a 0.8L and a 1.0L unit. The Redi-GO received its facelift just last year and it has grown into a mean-looking small hatchback in terms of styling. One gets Rs 20,000 cash offer and an additional Rs 15,000 as an exchange bonus. Datsun is also running a scheme where it's offering another Rs 5,000 based on your CIBIL score.

The 0.8L engine of Redi-GO produces 54 bhp at 5600 RPM with a peak torque of 72 Nm at 4250 RPM. The bigger 1.0L petrol unit makes 67 bhp at 5550 RPM with a peak torque of 91Nm at 4250 RPM. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT unit is placed for the 1.0L engine.

Feature-wise, Datsun Redi-GO comes with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with both Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. The car also gets Bluetooth connectivity, voice recognition, a new semi-analogue semi-digital instrument cluster and more. The new Redi-GO gets safety features like ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors with rear parking camera, dual front airbags and others.

Both the cars get Rs 20,000 cash as well as Rs 20,000 as an exchange bonus. The only catch is that the discount is available before May 31. Also, you need to check out the dealership to extract more discount on both these cars. Both the cars are powered by 1.2L petrol that offers 67 bhp with 104 Nm of peak torque.
