2025 Tata Altroz
Tata Altroz is finally getting its first facelift after the 2020 launch, so the changes are significant. In the teaser, this premium hatchback appears quite sporty and high-tech. To me, personally, it felt like Altroz went in a garage same as like from Need For Speed: Most Wanted video game, and received exterior changes which elevate its machismo level and overall road presence, so it feels like some young dude has designed this one. Now, onto what are the new changes.
Face

The front end of the 2025 Altroz appears like a shark face. As, the bumper has been tweaked, and now the fog lamp has been made vertical - all LED, which in the truest sense looks like the bi-function LED headlights we see in the bigger Tata cars like Harrier and Safari. Also, the headlights are new, featuring two projector light setup, DRLs at the top, and the overall backgroung the headlamps are dark, which appears sporty and premium. Moreover, the grille features several chrome strips that makes the front end feel rich. It's same in the proportion as before, but the several chrome elements make it premium.
Side Profile

The side profile of the car isn't touched, but a very significant update has been given to it - flush door handles. Yes, the Altroz will get flush door handles with a tiny light on the left side. We have previously seen flush door handles on the Tata Curvv and Curvv EV. They are a modern way to open the door but can also become quite tricky to operate, especially for elders. That said, they do improve the aerodynamics of the car - not by a big percentage, but a very small one. Also, the alloy wheels are all-new, but this teaser doesn't show that. However, they will surely be a new set of 5-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Rear

The Altroz's rear profile has always been a sight to behold - great proportions, a dual-tone treatment of black and the body colour, plus handsome-looking tail-lights. Now, Tata has gone one step further and done what can make or break the entire rear view of the Altroz. They have added a connecting LED bar and also changed the tail-light design. Additionally, the rear bumper is all-new, featuring a brake light at the middle bottom. Now, judging the entire rear section just from a quick teaser doesn't align with the principles of journalism, so I will wait before commenting anything on it.

Verdict
So, this is the first teaser of the upcoming Tata Altroz facelift, and things have exceeded our expectations by a huge margin. We didn't expect Tata to make such drastic changes, but here is the first glimpse of it. More will be revealed in the coming days, showcasing the changes made to the interior. However, we believe Tata won't make any changes to the powertrain lineup, as all of them are pretty well sorted.
