Just a few days ago, we shared with you the images of the upcoming Ford Endeavour Sport Edition parked at a dealership yard. Now finally, Ford India has officially launched this special edition of the Endeavour in the country. This new Endeavour Sport Edition gets several cosmetic updates that make it look more menacing than ever before. It will be available in three colour variants - Absolute Black, Diffused Silver and Diamond White. The price of the new 2020 Ford Endeavour Sport Edition is Rs. 35.10 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. Here are all the details about this special edition SUV.

The new Ford Endeavour Sport Edition is based on the top-spec Titanium+ 4x4 version of the SUV. It is a blacked-out version of the regular Endeavour but there are some other good changes too. Talking about the big cosmetic upgrades, so the new Ford Endeavour Sport Edition gets a dark theme. The chrome inserts of the SUV are replaced by a gloss black shade. Also, the SUV has received an all-new grille. The regular Endeavour gets a large chrome-embellished angular hexagonal grille. But, the new Sport Edition features a new ebony black grille with honeycomb inserts.

The Sport Edition also gets blacked-out front and rear bumpers, skid plates, ORVMs, front fender vents and side steps. Even the roof-rails are finished in ebony black colour shade and the black inserts can be seen on some other parts of the SUV too. The new Ford Endeavour Sport Edition gets a 'Sport' badging on the tailgate, 'Sport' decals on the side profile and a blacked-out Endeavour badge on the tailgate. The alloy wheels too are finished in ebony black colour shade. Overall, the new Ford Endeavour Sport Edition looks truly drop-dead gorgeous and much better than the regular version.

Apart from the aesthetic changes on the outside, no other changes have been made in the Sport Edition of the SUV. The interior too remains the same and since it is based on the top-spec Titanium+ trim, it comes loaded with all the bells and the whistles. Some equipment highlights include an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, premium 10-speaker sound system, ambient lighting, terrain management system, hands-free semi-auto parking, a hands-free powered tailgate and many more. It also gets a ton of safety features which include up to 7 airbags, ESC, HDC, HSA, etc.

The new Endeavour Sport Edition is powered by the same BS6-compliant 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine. This oil-burner churns out 170 PS of power at 3500 RPM and 420 Nm of peak torque between 2000-2500 RPM. It comes mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox and is available with 4x4 drivetrain only. Lastly, talking about the price, so the price of the new Ford Endeavour Sport Edition is Rs. 35.10 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. Thus, this Sport Edition of the Endeavour is around 65,000 rupees dearer than the top-spec trim of the regular Endeavour and around 1.78 lakh rupees cheaper than its arch-rival, the Toyota Fortuner TRD 4x4.
