Ford India Cars Now Expensive By Rs 80,000 - All Details

As of April 2021, Ford India cars have become more expensive than before and its flagship SUV Endeavour receives the maximum price hike. Ford other cars include Figo, Freestyle, Aspire, Ecosport and they all see this massive hike in prices.

Ford Figo and Freestyle

Both these cars now are expensive by Rs 18,000 for all the variants. The new prices for Figo stick from Rs 5.82 lakh to Rs 8.37 lakh. The prices for the Freestyle range between Rs 7.27 lakh to Rs 9.02 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.

Ford Aspire

The sub-4metre sedan rivalling Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura, Tata Tigor and Honda Amaze is expensive by Rs 30,000. The Aspire comes in two variants only - Titanium and Titanium+ and the prices start from Rs 7.27 lakh and go up till Rs 8.72 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

It is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol making 95 bhp with 119 Nm of peak torque and the 1.5L diesel churns out 99 bhp with 215 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines get mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Ford Ecosport

The popular compact SUV now receives a price hike of Rs 20,000 across some variants. The Titanium+, S and the recently launched SE does not receive any price hike. The prices now start from Rs 8.19 lakh and go up to Rs 11.69 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

Ford Endeavour

The flagship SUV of Ford and the toughest rival to the Toyota Fortuner, Endeavour receives a massive hike of Rs 80,000. The 4X2 AT is dearer by Rs 70,000 whereas Titanium 4WD and Sport variant are expensive by Rs 80,000.

Under the hood, the Endeavour uses a 2.0litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel unit. This engine generates 168 bhp at 3500 RPM with a peak torque of 420 Nm at 2000 RPM. This engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. This 10-speed further helps in increasing the fuel economy of the SUV.
