Hero Maestro Edge is a very popular scooter in the Indian market. The cool Maestro Edge is mainly targeted towards the young male audience of the country. The Maestro Edge 110 was first launched in India in the year 2012. It became an instant hit, thanks to its funky design and modern styling. Then, fast forward to 2019, the more powerful Maestro Edge comes into the picture. The new Maestro Edge 125 was launched in Indian in May 2019 and recently it also got a BS6 update. Now, the company has finally launched the BS6-compliant version of the 110cc Maestro too. Here, we have for you the First Look Review of the new 2020 Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6.

Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6: Looks and Colour Options
The new Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6 looks almost identical to its older BS4 counterpart. It also resembles its elder sibling, the Maestro Edge 125. The new BS6 Maestro 110 gets new bold graphics, new colour schemes, funky stickers, new exhaust muffler and a new seat cover with red stitching. The new Maestro Edge 110 boasts of a sporty design language. All in all, it sports a muscular profile and macho styling to lure young buyers. The new Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6 is available in six colour variants. They are Techno Blue, Seal Silver, Candy Blazing Red, Pearl Fadeless White, Panther Black, and Midnight Blue.

Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6: Engine, Transmission and Mileage
The new 2020 Hero Maestro Edge 110 is powered by a new BS6-compliant 110.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor churns out 8.1 PS of maximum power at 7500 RPM and 8.75 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM. It comes mated to a CVT. The new Maestro Edge 110 BS6 also gets Hero's XSens smart sensor technology with programmed fuel injection system. This new BS6-compliant Maestro Edge 110 will deliver around 55-60 kmpl of mileage in real-world riding conditions.

Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6: Tyres, Brakes and Features
The new Maestro Edge 110 gets a 12-inch tyre at the front and a 10-inch unit at the rear. The front tyre measures 90/90-12 while the rear one is a 90/100 section 10-inch unit. Both are tubeless tyres. The scooter gets 130 mm drum brake both at the rear as well as at the front. It also gets Hero's patented IBS or Integrated Braking System as an additional safety aid. For suspension duties, it gets telescopic forks at the front and a unit swing with spring-loaded hydraulic damper at the rear. The other features of the scooter include LED taillight, external fuel filling cap, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a side stand sensor, USB charger, boot light and more.

Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6: Price, Rivals and Verdict
The new 2020 Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6 is available in just two variants - Drum Brake Alloy Wheel FI VX and Alloy Wheel FI. The more affordable FI VX variant is priced at Rs. 60,950 while the latter top-spec trim is priced at Rs. 62,450. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. It rivals against the Honda Activa 6G, TVS Jupiter 110, Hero Pleasure Plus, and the likes. Finally, talking about the verdict, so if you are looking for a funky-looking 110cc scooter with a macho appeal, punchy performance and decent mileage in the budget, then you should consider buying the new Maestro Edge 110 BS6.
