Honda City Sport Edition Spotted; Details

As we mentioned earlier, the City Sport Edition is a subtle special edition model that will feature cosmetic and interior enhancements, while retaining the core design and mechanicals of the regular car. The City Sport Edition comes with elements such as a black-finished grille, black ORVMs, a black boot lip spoiler, and 'Sport' badging on the tailgate. Not much is known of what's on the inside, but the interiors come with an all-black treatment.

Under the hood, the City Sport Edition will retain the 1.5-litre, nat-asp petrol powertrain producing 119bhp and 145Nm of torque, paired to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. Those wishing to see a new turbo-petrol engine from Honda will have to hold on to their breaths a little longer.

Some features currently on offer include the 7.9-inch touchscreen infotainment setup with wireless connectivity, the digital twin dial instrument cluster, an 8-speaker surround sound system, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a reverse parking camera, blind view monitor, and a tyre pressure monitor among other things.

Verdict
The City Sport Edition is a rather subtle sporty edition of this mid-size sedan, and while this may not make the cut for those expecting something far racier and committed, it might just end up taking soe buyers away from the Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo.
