Jeep India is sailing in the Indian market with just one product that is the Compass. Jeep also launched Compass Trailhawk and the Night Eagle variants of the Compass recently. But having just one product, that too also of a premium segment, in the competitive market in India is not successful. Jeep is now working on the Compass facelift and a 7-seater Compass. Both the Jeep Compass facelift and Compass 7-seater will come to India and recently have been spied on Indian roads too.
Jeep Compass Facelift has been spied previously too and it won't be largely different from the current model. Jeep will refresh the design with some new elements and colour schemes wheres the interiors will get more features. The launch of the Compass facelift is expected in 2021 and it will help Jeep to get more traction. We expect some tweaks made to the headlights, new bumpers, new set of alloy wheels and new shades of colours for the exteriors. The interiors will be updated with the new Uconnect touchscreen system and some revisions to the styling.

Moving to the Compass 7-seater, it is expected to hit the India shores in late 2021. Jeep is testing the Compass 7-seater around the globe and it's spied testing in India too. Talking about the car, Jeep is expected to christen it "Grand Compass" and it will rival cars like the Toyota Fortuner, Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace and Skoda Kodiaq. It will be underpinned by the same structure but sport bigger proportions. In the images, bigger wheels and prominent cladding is visible along with a longer rear overhang. As the test mule is covered in heavy camouflage, we cannot get more details out of it but the alloy wheels on both the cars are similar.

The Jeep Grand Compass will come with a 2.0-litre diesel engine which will produce similar 173PS and 350 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual and 9-speed automatic gearbox. Jeep may also plonk a petrol engine inside the Grand Compass but it will get more clearer near future. It will be priced in the region of Rs 25 lakh to Rs 30 lakh ex-showroom and launch won't happen before late 2021.
