Kia Seltos and Kia Sonet Price To Be Increased From January 2021

As per the recent reports, the prices of the Kia Seltos and Kia Sonet will be increased from 1st January 2020. Kia launched the Sonet in the Indian market at an introductory price which will now be revised by the brand. As per the reports, the Kia Seltos and Kia Sonet price will be substantially increased by the brand. The Seltos on the other hand last received a price hike in January 2020. It is worth noting that both these vehicles are one of the top-selling vehicles in their respective segments.

As per the brand, the productions costs of the vehicles have gone up due to an increase in the costs of raw materials and transportation due to various reasons. In addition to this, the brand shared a letter with its dealer partners which state that the new price will be substantially higher. It is worth noting that the current price list will remain applicable for all those customers who will take the delivery of their vehicles till 31st December 2020.

Both, the Kia Sonet and the Kia Seltos have received an overwhelming response from the buyers ever since their launch. Both these vehicles are offered as highly VFM products and can be had with a diesel as well as with a petrol engine. The vehicles all have a turbo variant on offer for the hard-core driving enthusiasts. Apart from that, the Seltos and the Sonet come with a fairly extensive features list which gives them an edge over their direct rivals.

Currently, the prices of the Kia Seltos start from Rs 9.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base, petrol variant. With that being said, the Kia Sonet price starts from Rs 6.71 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant. It is worth noting that the brand is not planning to hike the price of the Kia Carnival as of now.
