The Mahindra Scorpio N pickup truck with a single cab setup was recently spied testing, and this vehicle is most likely to be showcased at the upcoming FREEDOM_NU event on August 15th. Additionally, the truck was seen with makeshift headlights, and the entire vehicle was fully camouflaged. This suggests Mahindra's attempt to hide the front end, which might be quite different from the standard Scorpio N. Let's talk more about it below. Mahindra Scorpio Pickup Truck

Mahindra Scorpio N pickup truck has been spied earlier several times, however, this time, the front end has been distorted to hide its front features, as this car is seen with makeshift headlights. On top of that, the grille area seems different with horizontal stacks that is different from the regular Scorpio N. To add more, even the grab bar handle on the bed is missing, which hints that it might be a lower spec version of the car.

To elaborate further, this truck will feature the same powertrain as the 2.2L mHawk diesel engine that produces 174 PS and 370 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. This engine is also available in several other iterations with more power, and a 6-speed automatic torque converter, but I believe Mahindra won't offer it with the truck, as this is machine is not developed to provide comfort.
We might also suspect that Mahindra will bring back the Getaway moniker with this new pickup, and we could see the first glimpse of it on August 15th. It's well-known that the Getaway has been widely used in Army convoys, so we may see a resurgence of these vehicles in that space once again.
