Mahindra Vision X Teased Again Before August 15 Reveal!

The Mahindra Vision X has been teased yet again, and like the other Vision concept teasers, the car maker has given us a glimpse of the car from the side. With this, the car maker has released the last of the four teasers for the cars to be unveiled at the Freedom NU event on August 15.

Mahindra Vision X Teased Again; Details

Unlike the other three concept cars which seem to receive a properly boxy design with plenty of off-road focused elements, the Vision X seems to have a design focused more on urban usage. The new teaser shows us a stacked treatment for the front section, suggesting that the headlamps are placed lower on the front bumper, similar to most cars these days.

It also seems to get aero-specified alloy rims, and road-specific tyres, further suggesting urban usage. However, it still also gets a boxier, upright stance, thus still sticking to the boxy, commanding stance of other Mahindra SUVs.

If you remember the first teaser, it gave us a top-down view of the car. The hood appeared to have a more conventional, smoother shape and a more rounded profile that would be more in-line with a typical road-going car.

Given that Mahindra has tagged its electric SUVs social handles on the teaser, we can expect the Vision X to share its underpinnings with the BE 6 and the XEV 9E, featuring the same INGLO platform, along with the 59 and 79kWh battery packs. The Vision X may not be the all-electric XUV700, but perhaps something related to it.
