MG Gloster Bookings Commence At Rs 1 Lakh; Get's ADAS And IATS

MG has now started taking the bookings of their flagship SUV, Gloster. The booking amount is set at a premium of Rs 1 lakh which hints on that the launch will be big and so will the pricing. MG Gloster packs in some first-in-segment features and that too in a budget which will take the Indian automotive market by storm.

Based on the Maxus D90, the Gloster is really huge and really creates a road presence with its size. Not only that, the Gloster packs in some first-in-segment features like Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Under this, several features like Adaptive cruise control, Automatic emergency braking, automatic parking assist and among others.

MG Gloster also comes with the on-demand Four Wheel Drive system and gets IATS which is also referred to as an intelligent all-terrain system. This system offers seven different modes such as snow, mud, sand, eco, sport, normal and rock.

Mg Gloster packs in a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine which makes as much as 216 bhp with a peak torque of 480 Nm. We expect the prices to stick around Rs 32 lakh to Rs 38 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It will launch in October.
