It has not been very long since Honda launched the 10th-gen Civic in the country. The Civic comes in India with 1.8-L petrol or a 1.5-L diesel engine options to choose from - the latter has just been taken off the market post BS6 norms came into play. The car looks aggressive and sporty but lacks on the performance front. However, in the international market, Honda does sell the performance-oriented version of the Honda Civic, the Type-R. In addition to a powerful engine and sporty suspension, the Type-R also gets a number of cosmetical upgrades. Unfortunately, we do not get the same car here in India but an owner from Gujrat owns a modified Honda Civic which is the closest lookalike to the Type-R Civic sold outside India.

This modified Civic comes with a custom dual-tone, yellow-black paint scheme and is equipped with custom body kit which is similar to that of the Civic Type-R. In addition to this, the chrome elements have been painted in gloss black which further enhances the overall look of the car. The hood gets a functional scoop to support better ventilation in the engine bay. Looks nice, share your opinions in our WhatsApp Group!

At the rear, there is a large spoiler which grabs all the attention. Apart from this, the bumper also gets a refreshed design and features a faux diffuser. The dual-tone paint scheme is carried to the bumper as well and give is a great visual appeal. We can also spot the air vents on the bumpers and Honda logo on the vehicle too has been replaced with the red logo which is meant to be used in the performance-oriented Honda cars. The stock alloy wheels of the car have been replaced with the alloy wheels found on the outgoing Skoda Octavia VRS 245.
