
The Ather Electric scooter is one of the most powerful, reliable, and VFM electric scooters in the market and takes on the rivals like the newly launched Ola S1 and S1 Pro. Having said this, Ather recently released a new Ather Electric Scooter ride mode that aims to offer a better range with limited impact on performance. Called the SmartEco ride mode, this new mode will be installed via OTA updates and here are all the details that you should know about the new Ather ride mode.

For starters, the new SmartEco ride mode is designed and made to adjust range and performance in a way that the rider gets to travel maximum range without affecting the performance. The users can download the latest version of the Atherstack software in their Ather 450X and 450 Plus after which the SmartEco Ride will be usable. Ather Labs usually release timely updates based on user feedback. Having said this, the users who have the Ather Connect Pro Subscription plan will get access to the SmartEco ride mode.
A number of other features too were made available with Ather including Trip Planner and Savings Tracker. The users can choose Update Now option via settings on the scooter's touchscreen display panel. The battery should be at least 40% to get the update. The update takes around 5 minutes post which users can SmartEco mode via settings.

The SmartEco ride mode aims to achieve a midway between ECO and higher ride modes. This new riding mode specifically senses the exact requirements at a given point after taking into consideration the riding style, total load on the scooter, terrain, etc. A power bar is displayed on the dashboard in SmartEco mode that indicates the power availability.
