Maruti Suzuki Fronx

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx, the popular sub-4 metre crossover based on the Baleno, was spotted in a striking avatar at the Bangkok International Motor Show, which 91Wheels attended this week. However, this wasnt the standard model - it was an OEM-modified version, customized by Maruti Suzuki itself, and it carried a proper JDM-inspired stance. Equipped with 215/45 R17 low-profile Lenso wheels finished in black with a five-spoke design, the upgrade not only enhances its visual appeal but also elevates its overall road presence.

Tinted windows, bold Fronx lettering, and striking red-and-black graphics give it a more eye-catching and sporty appeal. That said, the standout highlight is the roof-mounted Thule hard case, which adds a strong layer of practicality and transforms it into a more touring-focused machine rather than just a regular crossover. While the changes are minimal, they create a significant visual impact, and it's fair to say this is one of the best-looking modified Fronx builds so far.

Verdict
This OEM-modified Fronx shows just how much potential the platform has with the right set of upgrades. The changes are subtle but well thought out, enhancing both its visual appeal and functional versatility. It successfully blends sporty aesthetics with touring practicality, giving it a unique identity over the standard model. If anything, it highlights how a factory-backed accessory pack could make the Fronx even more desirable for enthusiasts.
