Bold New Design Inspired By Hyundai's Flagship SUVs

Frequent spy shots have revealed that the upcoming Hyundai Venue will adopt a more upright and muscular stance. The most prominent update lies in its redesigned front fascia, which replaces the current mesh grille with horizontal slats running across the width of the SUV. The C-shaped LED DRLs flanking vertically stacked projector headlamps lend it a sharper, more premium look reminiscent of the Creta and Alcazar.

At the rear, the Venue is expected to feature a reworked tailgate, new connected LED tail lamps, and a redesigned bumper with integrated reflectors. Fresh 16-inch alloy wheels, a sleeker roof spoiler, and new body panels further elevate its road presence while maintaining the Venue's compact proportions.

Interior: A Major Step-Up In Tech & Comfort

The cabin of the new Hyundai Venue will undergo a significant transformation, with a design language that mirrors Hyundai's global lineup. The highlight will be a curved dual-display setup housing a large touchscreen infotainment unit and a fully digital instrument cluster. Other expected upgrades include a reworked dashboard layout with slimmer AC vents, a new centre console and steering wheel design, a dual-pane sunroof and ventilated front seats, wireless charging and ambient lighting, level 2 ADAS suite, with advanced driver assistance features to the segment for the first time. Hyundai is likely to enhance the tactile quality of materials used across the cabin, paired with new upholstery patterns and colour themes for a more upmarket feel.

Proven Engine Lineup To Continue

The upcoming Hyundai Venue will retain the same proven powertrain options as the current model, offering a familiar yet reliable performance package. The range will include a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 83 bhp, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol with 120 bhp, and a 1.5-litre diesel generating 100 bhp. Gearbox choices will also remain unchanged, a 5-speed manual for the 1.2L petrol, 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT for the turbo-petrol, and both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic (torque converter) options for the diesel variants.

The Venue's variant lineup will continue to cater to a wide range of buyers, from the base petrol trims to fully loaded turbo and diesel options. Following the standard model's debut, Hyundai is also expected to introduce the updated Venue N Line, featuring sportier styling cues, tweaked suspension, and paddle shifters for the DCT variants. It will continue to rival the likes of the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and the Skoda Kylaq.

Verdict

With a bold new design, an upgraded interior, and the introduction of Level 2 ADAS, Hyundai is clearly positioning the new Venue as a tech-forward, feature-rich compact SUV, something that it is already known for. While the powertrains remain unchanged, the holistic improvements promise to make the new-gen Venue one of the most desirable models in its class when it arrives this November. As for the sportier N-Line version, it will follow soon after the standard model hits showroom.
