Hero MotoCorp seems to have its hands full at the moment, with a new patent filing cropping up one after the another. After the probable Karizma XMR 250, and a new naked streetfighter also likely based on the platform, a new retro motorcycle patent filing has popped up, which appears to be a scrambler based on the Hero Mavrick 440.

New Hero Mavrick-Based Scrambler: What To Expect?
The Hero Mavrick-based scrambler appears to have a slightly more beefier design, with bits such as a revised headlamp, fork protectors, a small visor, a redesigned fuel tank with more prominent extensions, a different handlebar, a new seat, redesigned alloy rims and a new engine crash guard. The rear section of the bike will also likely be different, and it will also likely feature different footpeg positioning over the standard Mavrick.
However, in terms of the mechanicals, we can expect a lot of them to be shared with the standard Mavrick. The 440cc, liquid-cooled powertrain from the Harley-Davidson X440 will be featured here as well, but likely in a slightly different state of tune. It will also feature the same 43mm forks and 7-step adjustable twin shocks, along with disc brakes on both ends.
The Mavrick-based scrambler is likely to be among the four new motorcycles to be shown at the EICMA 2024, and more details shall follow soon enough, so stay tuned!

Verdict
The Hero Mavrick-based scrambler will likely become the first scrambler from the Indian bikemaker once it is launched in the market. Given how Hero has priced the Mavrick aggressively, we can expect similar pricing for the upcoming motorcycle.
