The BMW X5 is due fot a major generational change, with the current-generation having been around for many years now. The upcoming new-generation model of the X5 has been spotted globally, and there are a few things that we can talk about.

New-Generation BMW X5 Details
The new-generation X5 will receive the Neue Klasse Design language, as previewed by the Neue Klasse X concept shown not too long ago. The kidney grilles will become slimmer and smaller, and the headlights could also be sleeker and slimmer. The rear could also receive a similar style treatment to the new X3, with slimmer, longer tail lights and the split tailgate. The profile will be rather smooth, devoid of any drama, and the flush-fitting door handles will further reinforce that.
Not much is known about the interiors, but we can expect something similar to the Neue Klasse interiors in production-spec, featuring the 'Panoramic iDrive' concept, which does away with a conventional instrument cluster and showcases vital information onto the windscreen. This will also be seen on the upcoming new-generation 3 Series.
The new X5 will continue with the CLAR platform, with petrol, diesel, hybrid and all-electric powertrains on offer, similar to what the car maker does with the 5 Series globally. We can expect the new X5 to make its global debut by the end of 2026, following which it could make its India debut sometime in 2027.

Verdict
The new X5 will be here a little late, compared to the likes of the new Audi Q5, which is almost around the corner. We can also expect Mercedes to have upgraded the GLE globally by the time the new X5 comes along.
