
While every month it is raining car discount, both Nissan and Datsun India in order to push more sales from its portfolio are offering up to Rs 54,500 of discount in the market. Currently, Nissan has Kicks in its portfolio while Datsun sells Redi-Go, Go and GO+ in the market.
Datsun GO

This hatchback is in the market for several years now and just last year got a facelift It is being powered with a 1.2L petrol engine which makes 75 bhp with 104 Nm of peak torque. Another interesting feature is that this is the only hatchback in its segment which is being offered with an optional CVT gearbox. A 5-speed manual unit comes as a standard. Nissan is offering discount worth Rs 54,500 on this which is further broken down into Rs 27,500 as cash + Rs 20,000 as exchange and another Rs 7,000 as corporate.

Datsun GO+

The extended version of the GO model with added 2 seats in the last row. It can be categorised into 5+2 seater car which gets the same 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine as the GO. It is being offered with Rs 49,500 as a total discount. It is further segregated into Rs 22,500 as cash + Rs 20,000 as exchange + Rs 7,000 as corporate.
Redi-GO

The entry-level hatchback from Datsun which competes with Maruti 800 and Renault Kwid is being offered with Rs 29,500 worth of discounts. This is further broken down into 7,500 as cash + Rs 15,000 as exchange + Rs 7,000 as corporate discount. Also, to further ease up with the EMIs, the financing of this car is done at 6.99% interest rate.

Nissan Kicks

With the discontinuation of its diesel motor, the sales of Kicks have taken a backseat. To boost up the low volumes, Nissan also introduced more powerful turbo petrol with 156 bhp but that also could not attract the Indian market. For Nissan Kicks, you have to enquire to your nearest dealership to get some good deal on 1.5L petrol or the 1.3L turbo petrol unit.
