Suzuki V-Strom 800DE: India Launch Soon
The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE, first unveiled at the 2022 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, caught global attention when it was launched in December 2022. Interestingly, the buzz around its launch in India started when people spotted its test model in mid-June 2023. Then, at the recent 2024 Bharat Expo show, among its various offerings, the V-Strom 800 DE was showcased. Its debut in India sparked significant interest among the public. Now, it's all set to join the Indian lineup soon.

Suzuki V-Strom 800DE: Engine And Features
The V-Strom 800DE comes packed with power from its 776cc, 4-stroke, 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, delivering a smooth ride with 83bhp and 78Nm of torque. Mated to a six-speed gearbox. Focusing on the features, it gets a five-inch TFT display, bi-directional quick-shifter, traction control, four riding modes, dual ABS, and Low RPM Assist for smooth low-speed maneuvers.
Suzuki V-Strom 800DE: Hardware
When it comes to the mechanics, this bike's suspension by Showa ensures a smooth ride with adjustable front forks and a rear mono-shock you can adjust for comfort. For braking, it's equipped with 310mm front discs and a 260mm rear disc, both with ABS. You can switch off the rear ABS if needed. On the 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, it rolls on Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour tyres, perfect for any road condition.
Suzuki V-Strom 800DE: Launching, Pricing, And Rivals
It's not officially confirmed yet, but the launch of the motorcycle is expected to happen in the next month, possibly in the first few days. it is expected to be priced somewhere between Rs. 10.50 lakh to Rs. 12 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). It will be facing competition from bikes like the Triumph Tiger 850 and the BMW F 850 GS.
