Toyota India has finally started delivering its mammoth SUV. Yes, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 deliveries have started in India. The flagship SUV from Toyota was launched back in December'22. Toyota has been accepting its bookings since August'22. Read more details on it below.

Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Details
The Land Cruiser has been a testament in itself in the SUV category. It has been on sale for decades now. All thanks to its bulletproof reliability & capabilities, it is still one of the primary choices of buyers in its segment. However, the previous model LC 200 had been on sale for a long time in India. It badly needed replacement with the latest gen LC 300. Toyota India knew that and hence the bookings of it commenced in August'22. However, the price of the SUV was only declared back in December'22. It is priced at Rs 2.10 crores. Yes, you read it right.
Now, speaking of the details; it is massive in every way. The sheer size and presence of the LC 300 have won hearts globally. It will be sold as CBU in India. While its overall design appears boxy; it is a beautiful box indeed. The LED DRLs and headlights along with a big chrome grille make it appear massive. At the rear end, it features a tall body design with rectangular LED taillights. The side profile of LC is the no different case either. It features 20-inch alloy wheels with a chrome finish and large UV-cut glasses. Meanwhile, the interiors are designed for extreme luxury. It gets complete leather upholstery and a big 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment. This infotainment also supports Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay. Additionally, it gets a leather-wrapped steering with a digital driver cockpit. Some other features include - 10 Airbags, TPMS, VSC, Terrain Modes, etc.
Toyota is offering the LC 300 with only one engine option. It is a 3.3-lt V6 turbo diesel powertrain that makes a peak power of 305bhp & 700Nm of torque. Meanwhile, this power & torque is mated via a 10-speed automatic gearbox providing power to all four wheels.
Verdict
Toyota Land Cruiser is an extremely capable SUV that also provides the utmost comfort. Hence, it has been an automatic first choice among VIPs in India. However, it does face competition from equally capable rivals like Mercedes-Benz GLS & BMW X7.
