Yesterday we broke news about the Upcoming 2020 Nissan Kicks BS6 1.3 Turbo Petrol that will be the most powerful SUV in the segment. More details about this model are now available with us and needless to say, the 2020 Kicks surely seems to be a well-rounded package. While pricing will be announced soon, here is what you need to know.
We already know the 2020 Nissan Kicks will come with a 156 PS engine that will offer about 16 PS more than the 1.4 turbo petrol engines of its direct rival, the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos. This engine makes use of a unique cylinder coating technology that is also seen in the Nissan GT-R Supercar! Apart from this, the 2020 Kicks BS6 will also get Nissan's famous X-Tronic CVT transmission.
The higher models will come with the first in class around view monitor that makes getting in and out of tight spaces an easy affair. It also offers a 'bird's view' of what is happening around the vehicle. Likewise, the higher versions will get what the website terms as 'first in class remote engine' - this is something we now see in the Seltos and Creta also. Nissan claims the Upcoming 2020 Nissan Kicks BS6 1.3 Turbo Petrol will also get best in class NissanConnect with Smartphone connectivity that offers over 50 features!
The new model will also get 210mm of ground clearance which is more than what other SUVs in the same price bracket offer. Higher models will get leather upholstery and the i-SPVT offers best of both the worlds - comfort and sorted dynamics! The current model's pricing starts at Rs 9.5 lakh and if Nissan can keep the 156 PS model's pricing in the Rs 12-14 lakh bracket, it will be an excellent alternative to the current options, especially for power-hungry enthusiasts.
