For the very first time, a Tork e-scooter has been seen undergoing testing. That's correct! This Pune-based electric vehicle startup, which has primarily focused on bikes until now, appears to be expanding its lineup into a new category. The sighting took place on Pune roads, where two camouflaged vehiclesan electric bike and an electric scooterwere seen together.

Upcoming Tork E-Scooter - What's In The Store!

In the captured spy shots of the Tork e-scooter, there's a lot to glean from its rear end. The images clearly showcase a spacious and wide seat, and there's the anticipation of a substantial pillion grab rail located behind it.

Upon closer inspection, we can identify twin shock absorbers, indicating a cost-effective hub motor in play. It's worth noting that this is the scooter's debut appearance, and interestingly, it coincides with the phase-out of FAME 2. While specific technical details of this electric vehicle remain under wraps, we're anticipating a range of nearly 100km and a top speed of around 80 kmph. These specifications are crucial for it to hold its ground in a competitive market landscape.

Turning to the bike, it is positioned as a more economical version of the Kratos, potentially even more affordable than the Urban trim, as hinted by Kapil. One notable feature is the inclusion of a belt drive. The projected launch for this bike is early 2024, setting the stage for direct competition with the Revolt RV400, which currently holds the title of India's most popular electric bike.
