The 2025 Kiger does not deviate too much from the formula that has worked for Renault all these years. Yes, it does look and feel quite familiar, but the additional new features certainly make it appear more attractive. That said, its easy-going attributes have been retained, but it could improve some more on the features front.

  • What we admire in this car

    • The features list now comes with some much-needed items.
    • Choice of nat-asp and turbo-petrol powertrain options.
    • The CVT is neatly calibrated.
    • Rear cabin feels spacious for three.

  • What could have been better

    • The multi-view camera does not offer a 360-degree view.
    • Except for the refreshed front-end, the rest of the car looks too familiar.
    • The interiors also feel too familiar despite the updated colour scheme.

Last Updated On 25th Aug'25: The Kiger has received its first major facelift, which sees it get a redesigned front-end, a refreshed interior theme, and additional new features, but the mechanicals and powertrains have been carried over from before. 

The 2025 Renault Kiger and Triber facelifts have been spotted testing in India. Both cars were heavily camouflaged but still revealed some new changes like updated bumpers, LED tail-lamps, new alloy wheels, and a fresh-looking front design. On the inside, we can expect a larger touchscreen and a redesigned dashboard. However, there won’t be any changes to the engine. The official launch is likely to happen later this year.
