2023 Hero Karizma To Make A Comeback With A New 210cc Engine

2023 Hero Karizma sports bike is rumored to make a comeback this year. It appears that Hero is developing an all-new 210cc engine for it.

Hero is soon going to re-introduce its most iconic sports bike in India. The 2023 Hero Karizma sports bike is under development. It is expected to launch by the end of this year. Additionally, it will get a new 210cc engine and a completely new chassis. Read more details about it below.

New Hero Karizma Details

As per the reporting source, the new Karizma will get radical changes. It will be based on a new platform as well. Also, Hero will equip it with a new 210cc liquid-cooled engine. This engine is destined to make a peak power of 25 bhp & a peak torque of 30 Nm. Additionally, a 6-speed gearbox with a suspected slipper-assist clutch shall also be fitted on it.

Meanwhile, its design will be essentially different from the previous-gen Karizma. Hero has learned that due to its unconventional design, the previous-gen Karizma failed. Hence, a more dedicated and futuristic design shall find its way on the new bike.

Moreover, Hero will also equip it with the latest features. Things like a digital TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, etc., might be fitted on the new bike. Other features like LED lights, a LED projector headlight, & alloy wheels will also find their way into it. Currently, there is no product from Hero that directly rivals the category contenders like Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 & Dominar 250. With the new Karizma, the fortunes of Hero might change.

Verdict

The Hero Xpulse 200 4V has proved to be a lifesaver for the company. Hence, Hero now wants to regain its pace in the mid-budget segment. What better option can be other than using the name of the iconic Karizma itself? The reintroduction of Karizma will be a big step for Hero in expanding ground in terms of sales. Anyways, we're expecting the launch of this new Karizma by the end of this year. Pricing can be somewhere between Rs 1.75 - 2 lakh.
