Hero is soon going to launch the 2024 edition of the Xtreme 160R 4V in India. The updated motorcycle has been teased online, displaying the new features and a new colour. Hero Xtreme 160R 4V 2024 Edition - All Details
As per the official teaser online, the new model will get a revised pillion seat design. It will be enhanced to provide more comfort to the pillion over long journeys. Also, the displayed model has a new colour scheme, a mix of black and bronze highlights. Another crucial upgrade will be the addition of a dual-channel ABS. Hero has also added a Drag Race Timer for the riders who love to have occasional fun with the bike. Lastly, the first-in-segment panic brake lights have also been introduced. These blink in case of emergency hard braking, alerting the traffic coming from the rear.
The rest of the parts will be unchanged on the new edition. The Xtreme 160R 4V uses a 163.2cc air-cooled engine that produces 16.6bhp of peak power and 14.6Nm of peak torque. This power is delivered to the rear wheel via a slick 5-speed transmission. Hardware includes a USD front suspension, preload adjustable rear monoshock, and disc brakes at both ends. The current model is priced at Rs 1.27-1.36 lakh ex-showroom, and we suspect that the 2024 edition will be a few thousand costlier than the top-spec variant. Its primary rivals include the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Bajaj Pulsar N160.
