2024 Maruti Swift Powertrain: New Z-Series Mild-Hybrid Engine
In its 2024 iteration, the Maruti Swift introduces an updated mild-hybrid powertrain featuring a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, Z Series petrol engine. This engine delivers 81.58 PS of power and 112Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual unit and a 5-speed AMT unit. Notably, with a decrease in power from the previous 89 PS, the new engine boasts enhanced fuel efficiency. It now achieves a mileage of 25.75 kmpl for the AMT version, while the manual variants offer a mileage of 24.80 kmpl.
