2024 Skoda Kodiaq And Superb - Peek Inside The Interior!

The pictures of the upcoming Kodiaq SUV and Superb sedan/estate reveal their new generation features, highlighting advancements in technology, comfort, and eco-friendly materials used in the interior. In the new Superb, a sleek dashboard with layers of colours and materials catches the eye, while the low-profile design offers a tidy layout with connected A/C vents and ambient lighting on the aluminium-style trim.

On the other hand, the Kodiaq showcases a robust dashboard design, reminiscent of its predecessor. The SUV features an X-shaped pattern, a taller centre console, and a clear instrument cluster. Both cars sport upholstery made entirely from recycled polyester, with an overall cabin theme of black and Cognac tones.

Both models boast a central 13-inch touchscreen for infotainment, slightly smaller than the VW Tiguan and Passat's 15-inch screen but fits well. It's accompanied by a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit and a head-up display.

2024 Skoda Kodiaq And Superb - Smart Dials, Pneumatic Massage Function And More!

Skoda has introduced Smart Dials in their new models, simplifying the centre console by reducing the number of buttons. These Smart Dials are actually three rotary push-button dials with small displays, neatly placed on the center console. The two outer dials let you adjust temperature/ventilation, and the centre one customizes  volume, fan, A/C mode, driving modes, and map zoom. you can customize these functions on the infotainment touchscreen and easily switch between them by pushing and holding the dial.

Both models now have their gear selectors for the DSG automatic transmission moved to the steering column, freeing up space in the centre console for storage. Skoda's famous Simply Clever features are abundant, with up to 28 options available in the new generation. These include a Phone Box with wireless charging for two devices at a rapid 15 W rate, along with active cooling. Moreover, you'll find four USB-C ports with a strong 45 W power output, plus an extra 15 W USB-C port on the rear-view mirror. The cars come with ample storage compartments, optional massaging seats, a handy door-mounted umbrella, an ice scraper, and more.

The Kodiaq model offers ergo seats with a pneumatic massage function, ensuring a comfortable ride. Meanwhile, the Superb model offers the choice of optional massage seats. These seats feature ten massage cushions controlled by air, offering various programs and four-way adjustable lumbar support. Conveniently, all seat, steering wheel, windscreen, and rear window heating functions can be easily managed through a configurable Heaters button in the climate control menu.
