MINI has recently announced that it will launch the 2025 MINI Cooper S and Countryman E in India on 24 July 2024. The brand already commenced the bookings for the new Mini Cooper S and Countryman E at the beginning of this month. Both Mini Cooper S and Countryman E globally debuted in Septemeber 2023. New Gen MINI Cooper S India Debut
The 2025 Mini Cooper S will initially come to India in a three-door model. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine which makes 201 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque. Talking about the acceleration, the Cooper S achieves the 0-100 mark in just 6.6 seconds which is 0.1 seconds faster than the previous model.
As far as the design is concerned, the 2025 MINI Cooper S features a redesigned grille, flatter surfaces and round LED headlamps with three customisable signature LED DRLs. More or less the upcoming Cooper S comes retains the MINI aesthetics with new Union jack-themed taillights.
2025 MINI Countryman E
The 2025 MINI Countryman E will come to Indian shores in the electric version first. The new Countryman E gets a bold-looking grille, larger dimensions and new LED DRLs. The electric SUV will receive its power from a single motor that makes 201 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. The new Countryman E will provide a driving range of 462 km on a solitary charge. Apart from this, it can sprint from 0-100 in just 8.6 seconds.
2025 MINI Cooper S and Countryman E: Features
When we talk about the cabin experience, both MINI Cooper S and Countryman E share the same features. These features include toggle switches for crucial controls, HuD, ambient lighting and a unique circle-shaped OLED infotainment display. Additionally, the Countryman will also get an ADAS Level 2 suite. Digital Key Plus, an electrically adjustable driver seat with a massage function, a fisheye in-car camera and MINI Connected tech.
Expected Price
However, the automaker has not spoken a word regarding the price of the upcoming models. We can expect both Cooper S and Countryman E to come to India with a starting price tag of Rs. 45 lakh (ex-showroom).
