Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd has launched the MY2025 GSX - 8R at Rs 9,25,000 ex-showroom. The biggest change is done internally, as Suzuki has made it OBD-2B compliant, to meet the latest government emissions regulations. Available with three striking colour options - and all the features available before are still there in the same setting. Let's learn more about this superbike below. Suzuki GSX- 8R
The Suzuki GSX-8R is powered by a 776cc parallel twin engine paired with a 270-degree crankshaft, produces 81.8 bhp and 78 Nm of toruqe. The motorcycle features Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) that provides advanced electronic rider assist systems including Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), the Suzuki Traction Control System (STCS), Ride-by-wire Electronic Throttle System, Bi-directional Quick Shift System, Suzuki Easy Start System and Low RPM Assist. It is also equipped with a 6-speed transmission and Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS).
Its mass-forward stance, forged aluminium separate handlebars, aerodynamically proven windscreen, and vertically stacked hexagonal LED headlights make it stand out in crowd. Showa inverted front forks, and showa mono-shock rear suspension are there. For braking there are dual four pistons front brake calipers with 310mm diameter dual disc. Lastly, three colour options are there - Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Matte Black No.2.

Verdict
Suzuki GSX-8R is an attractive fully-faired sports bike and is known for its outstanding performance, especially in the mid-range. If you observe it from all angles, you'll find a lot of Hayabusa in it. Its 776cc engine produces 81.8 bhp and 78 Nm of torque, and it goes like a bullet, on a minute throttle up.
