Honda Amaze

The Honda Amaze is a sub-4-metre sedan, and its third generation was launched in December 2024. In the crash test conducted by Bharat NCAP, the Amaze scored 28.33 out of 32.00 points in the Adult Occupant Protection category, earning a 5-star rating. However, in the Child Occupant Protection category, it scored 40.81 out of 49.00 points, which resulted in a 4-star rating.
Now, this is the second car in its segment to score such high marks after the Maruti Dzire. However, when comparing the points, the Dzire appears to be slightly better, having secured 5 stars in both parameters. In today's times, crash-test ratings matter a lot in buying decisions, as owning a safe car has become a priority for many buyers.

Moreover, the Honda Amaze is priced from Rs 7.40 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. Additionally, one of the key USPs of the Amaze is its ADAS, making it Indias most affordable car to offer this advanced safety suite.
