All New Audi Q3 Bookings Open At Rs 1 Lakh

Audi has opened bookings for the third-generation Q3 in India, starting 1 September 2026. Interested buyers can reserve a unit for Rs 1 lakh through the Audi India website, the myAudi connect app, or at any Audi dealership across the country. The German carmaker hasn't revealed prices yet. That announcement is expected next month, closer to the SUV's official India launch.
The new Q3 will be locally assembled in India, which should help Audi keep pricing competitive against its German rivals in the entry-level luxury SUV space.

New Audi Q3: What's Changed On The Outside

Audi Q3

The third-generation Q3 grows in every dimension over the outgoing model. It now measures 4,531mm in length, 1,859mm in width, and 1,623mm in height, riding on a 2,681mm wheelbase. That's a meaningfully larger footprint than before, and it should translate into a roomier cabin.

Up front, Audi has switched to a flatter, 2D version of its logo, dropping the 3D badge used on the older car. The grille is wider, paired with an even wider air intake below it, and there's no chrome trim around either. LED headlights and LED daytime running lights, which double as turn indicators, complete the front end. A ridged silver skid plate sits underneath to break up the design.

Talking about the side profile, the new Q3 gets 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, and a thick, L-shaped chrome strip running along the beltline. Audi has stuck with conventional pull-type door handles instead of moving to flush-fitting units, which is a small but notable choice given where the segment is heading.

At the rear, LED tail-lamps flank an illuminated Audi logo, sitting above a sculpted, body-coloured bumper with a matching silver skid plate. One thing to note: the India-spec car won't get the sportier S-Line styling package that's available on the Q3 in some overseas markets.

New Audi Q3: Interior and Cabin Tech

Step inside and the changes are just as significant. The new Q3 comes with a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment display and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, along with a new squircle-shaped steering wheel. A row of physical buttons sits below the air-conditioning vents on the centre console, which itself gets a gloss black finish.

The console also houses a wireless charging pad, the engine start-stop button, a rotary media control knob, the electronic parking brake switch, and cup holders. Audi has done away with the traditional gear selector here too, moving that function to a stalk mounted behind the steering wheel, while light and wiper controls have been combined onto the other stalk.

On the features front, the new Q3 gets a Sonos sound system, a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, paddle shifters, ambient lighting, a powered tailgate, and a 360-degree camera system.

New Audi Q3: Engine, Performance and Drivetrain

Mechanically, the new Q3 carries over the same formula as before: a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, TSI engine, tuned to produce 206 PS. Power goes through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and out to all four wheels via Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system.

Audi claims a 0-100kph time of 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 229kph, which should keep it firmly in contention with the turbo-petrol variants of the X1 and GLA on outright pace.

New Audi Q3: Expected Price and Rivals

Audi hasn't confirmed pricing yet, but industry estimates put the new Q3 somewhere between Rs 55 lakh and Rs 60 lakh, ex-showroom, once it launches. That would place it against the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA, the two cars it has traditionally competed with in India's entry-level luxury SUV segment.

Given that bookings are now open and prices are due next month, a formal India launch is likely to follow soon after. We'll update this piece as soon as Audi confirms official pricing and the launch date.

New Audi Q3 Variants (India)

The new Q3 is expected to be offered in three trims in India:

  • Premium 40 TFSI
  • Premium Plus 40 TFSI
  • Technology 40 TFSI
