Bajaj Dominar 400 is a very popular motorcycle in the Indian market. The Dominar 400 was first launched in India in the year 2016. But, to make the Dominar brand more affordable, Bajaj launched the Dominar 250 in India last year. Until now, the Bajaj Dominar 250 was available in two colours only but soon it will get two new colours. Here are all the details about it.

The new Dominar 250 BS6 is the first quarter-litre motorcycle from Bajaj in India. The Bajaj Dominar 250 BS6 is currently available in only two colours. They are Canyon Red and Charcoal Black. But soon, the D250 will get two new colour shades from the Dominar 400, namely Aurora Green and Vine Red. So, once these new colour schemes are launched, one can choose the Bajaj Dominar 250 BS6 in four colour shades.

The updated Bajaj Dominar 250 won't receive any mechanical changes. It will still be powered by the same BS6 compliant 248.8cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled DTS-i engine. This motor churns out 27 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 23.5 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Dominar 250 is a touring machine and it delivers good mileage too. Talking about features, so the new Bajaj Dominar 250 gets an assist & slipper clutch and a fully digital main instrument cluster along with an auxiliary screen on the fuel tank.

For suspension duties, it gets chunky 37 mm upside-down (USD) front forks and a nitrox gas-charged mono-shock absorber at the rear. Also, for braking duties, it gets a 300 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS for added safety. The Dominar 250 BS6 is currently priced at Rs. 1.70 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
