The adventure tourers are becoming very popular in the Indian market. Off late, we now have a lot of affordable adventure motorcycles on sale in the country. Let me name some of them, so we have the Hero Xpulse 200, KTM 250 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan, BMW G310 GS and also the KTM 390 Adventure. Every two-wheeler maker now wants to have at least one affordable ADV in its Indian portfolio. Now, while KTM's adventure tourers are made in India at Bajaj Auto's Chakan test facility in Pune, Maharashtra, Bajaj doesn't really have any ADV in its own portfolio. But fret not Pulsar fanboys as Autologue Design has launched a new adventure tourer body kit for the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200. Here, we have for you all the details about it.
Before we begin with anything else, first of all, we will be talking about the contents and price of this adventure tourer body kit that has been made by Autologue Design exclusively for the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200. So, let me tell you that the special introductory price of this #NSXPLORER body kit is Rs. 9,999. The first 30 buyers who pre-book this body kit for their Pulsar NS 200 can avail the benefits of this special introductory price. Post that, the price will be increased to Rs. 13,500. However, please do note that these prices of the body kit are excluding taxes. Now, talking about the contents, so each kit of this new #NSXPLORER body kit will contain tank shrouds, a new beak-like front fender, underbelly protection for the engine and a large visor that will protect you from the wind burst at higher speeds on the highways.
As you can see in the pictures above, the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 with the new adventure tourer body kit from Autologue Design looks really good. The #NSXPLORER body kit of the Pulsar NS 200 makes this naked streetfighter look more like an adventure tourer. However, it is worth mentioning that for the cost, you will be getting those four parts only, if you need the funky looking body graphics, you have to pay some extra amount. The hardware, features and mechanicals of the motorcycle remain unchanged. The Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is powered by a BS6-compliant 199.5cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, SOHC, four-valve, liquid-cooled, triple spark DTS-i engine. This fuel-injected motor churns out a very healthy 24.5 PS of maximum power output at 9750 RPM and 18.5 Nm of peak torque at 8000 RPM.
The engine of the Pulsar NS 200 comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. For suspension duties, it gets telescopic forks at the front and a nitrox gas-charged mono-shock absorber at the rear. The motorcycle runs on 17-inch tubeless tyres. For braking duties, it gets petal disc brakes at both the ends with a single-channel ABS as an additional safety aid. The Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 BS6 is currently priced in India at Rs. 1.33 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. What are your thoughts on this adventure tourer body kit of the Pulsar NS 200?
