Benelli Imperiali 400 bike prices in India have been hiked by up to Rs 21,000. This marginal price hike has come into effect across India. The retro-modern roadster from Benelli now costs Rs 2.35 lakh ex-showroom. It remains one of the best-selling models from Benelli India. Benelli Imperiale 400 Price Hike Details
Speaking of the Imperiale 400, is a retro-modern roadster bike. Additionally, it is also one of the direct rivals to the segment leader Royal Enfield Classic 350. Meanwhile, the design and mechanicals of the 2022 edition of Imperiale remain unchanged. However, it is its retro design with butch looks that appeal to customers. The round headlight, sculpted fuel tank, & split-seat setup looks uber cool on it. Additionally, the spoked wheels add further appeal to its retro looks of it. It also gets a dual-pod instrument panel with a semi-digital layout.
Mechanically, it comes with a 374cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine makes a peak power of 20.7 bhp & 29 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, it gets a 5-speed constant mesh transmission. However, the technical setup of the updated model remains the same. Benelli also provides a dual-channel ABS on the Imperiale for increased safety of the rider.
Verdict
The recent price hike has made the Imperiale 400 more costly than the Classic 350. Meanwhile, its retro-modern looks & performance are still able to fetch customers. However, we feel that Benelli might introduce a new gen Imperiale next year in the global markets.
