Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6 Launched in India; Price Starts at Rs 60,950

Hero Maestro Edge is a very popular scooter in the Indian market. It was first launched in the year 2012 as a 110cc scooter. Fast forward to 2019, the company launched the more powerful Maestro with a bigger 125cc engine. For several months, the 110cc and the 125cc Maestro Edge were on sale at the same time. Hitherto, only the 125cc model was upgraded to meet BS6 emission norms. But, now the company has launched the 110cc model too. The new 2020 Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 60,950, Ex-showroom Delhi.

The new Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6 looks almost identical to its older BS4 counterpart and also resembles its elder sibling. However, it gets new bold graphics, new colour schemes and funky stickers which further enhances its appeal. There are almost no changes in the body panels, but if you are a keen observer you can notice that it gets a new exhaust muffler and a new seat cover with subtle red-stitching. Some other features of this new scooter include a LED taillight, external fuel filling cap, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a side stand sensor, USB charger with boot light and more.

The new 2020 Hero Maestro Edge 110 is powered by a new BS6-compliant 110.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor churns out 8.1 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 8.75 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. It comes mated to a CVT and the scooter now also gets Hero's XSens fuel-injection system with smart sensor technology. The scooter gets telescopic forks at the front and a spring-loaded single hydraulic damper at the rear. For braking duties, it gets drum brakes at either end with an Integrated Braking System. The scooter weighs 112 kilograms and it has a fuel tank capacity of 5 litres.

Lastly, talking about the price and the variants, so the new Hero Maestro Edge 110 BS6 is available in two variants - Drum Brake Alloy Wheel FI VX and Alloy Wheel FI. The former variant is priced at Rs. 60,950 while the latter trim is priced at Rs. 62,450. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. The new Maestro Edge 110 BS6 is available in six colour variants - Techno Blue, Seal Silver, Candy Blazing Red, Pearl Fadeless White, Panther Black, and Midnight Blue.
