The Honda X-ADV Adventure Scooter is one-of-a-kind 750cc two wheeler. Honda had filed for its trademark back in December 2021.
Honda can now finally plan and schedule the launch of their middleweight adventure-scooter in India. The Japanese manufacturer had applied for the trademark rights of the scooter in December last year. With no other competition in this segment, in terms of design and features, the company has a unique proposition in hand that should entice customers in the premium scooter segment with the Honda X-ADV Adventure Scooter.
At first glance, the X-ADV might look like a rugged, maxi-scooter, but upon closer inspection, further details come to the fore. For example, the wide, block pattern tires are a clear indication of the fact that it can go off-road. Furthermore, the aggressive front apron, with a large 5-step adjustable windscreen, handguard, sculpted body panels, engine guard, step-up seat, upswept exhaust contributes to making the X-ADV look sporty as well as a proper adventurer.

The Honda X-ADV is built around a tubular-steel diamond-style frame, and the body suspends on 41-mm USD front forks, and a Mono-shock damper, with a pro-link swingarm that gets 150 mm of suspension travel. It rides on 17-inch wheels at the front and 15-inch at the rear, both radial tires, thereby going fast down the off-road trail shouldnt be a problem.

The benefits of being a part-time scooter come in the form of massive under-seat storage. The Honda X-ADV gets 21-liters of boot space, which can easily fit in a large ADV helmet. The under-seat storage also gets a USB-Type C charging port for smartphones and other devices.

Speaking of features, Honda equips the X-ADV with a 5-inch TFT screen, which also supports Hondas SmartPhone Voice Control System, however, it is primarily operated via switches on the handle.

The X-ADV is powered by a 745 cc, liquid-cooled, 8-valve, SOHC, parallel-twin cylinder engine. This unit produces 58 hp of power @ 6,750 rpm, and 69 Nm of torque @ 4,750 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission unit, and Honda has given further five ride modes to suit different terrain situations. Out of which, there are four pre-configured ride modes and one custom ride mode.
