
In a recent piece of sales information, Hyundai Creta becomes the top-selling SUV for September 2020. Launched back on March 16, the Creta competes with Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Mahindra XUV500, Renault Duster and Nissan Kicks. The SUV saw a striking number of 12,325.
Another info is that this new model is so much in demand that it saw a steep growth of 86% when compared with the same month for last year. Hyundai Creta starts from Rs 9.99 lakh and its top model fetches till Rs 17.21 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The 2020 Creta offers top of the line features and unique design with a wide service network which eventually is responsible for the sale of the vehicle.
The mid-size SUV is available in three engine options - a 1.5L petrol, 1.5L diesel and the most powerful 1.4L turbo petrol. Out of all three, the diesel in its automatic gearbox is the most popular choice among buyers. The diesel makes 113 bhp with a peak torque of 250 Nm. The 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol makes similar power but its maximum torque sticks to 144 Nm only.

The turbo petrol which is also the least in demand but packs in some top of the line features offer 138 bhp of power and 242 Nm of peak torque. Transmission for the diesel and the 1.5L petrol sticks to a 6-speed manual as standard while the automatic gets a 6-speed auto and an IVT gearbox respectively. Also, the turbo petrol is only available with a 7-speed DCT.

Feature-wise too the new Creta is loaded up to the brim. It's regular variants are offered with dual-tone scheme of beige and black while the turbo petrol gets all-black cabin with red inserts. It also gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit which is driver focused.

It hosts several connectivity features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Voice Command, Bluetooth and the signature BlueLink technology. A huge panoramic sunroof, Bose speakers, traction control, drive modes, paddle shifters are some of the highlights of the new Creta. Safety features of the new Creta include as many as six airbags, ABS with EBD, cruise control, high speed alert system, front seat belt reminder and among others.
