Ignyte Helmets Range Details
Ignyte is not a new brand in the premium helmet market. Being sold globally for years, it offers a variety of products to the customers within an affordable price bucket. However, the Indian debut has been made with its two products named - IGN-7 & IGN-4. Both of these helmets offers aerodynamic design, convenience features, and utmost safety altogether.
These helmets are also the first in the world to offer the NACA Air Duct technology. This technology helps in creating an obstruction-free air flow without hindering the aerodynamics of the helmet. This type of airflow technology is primarily used in aircraft and supercars.
IGN-4 Helmet
Speaking of the IGN-4, it is a smart looking helmet that offers plenty of safety features along with good safety certifications. The IGN-4 has dual safety certificates which include the DOT (FMVSS No. 218) and BIS ISI (IS 4151:2015). Additionally, the company has provided the double-D ring strap for enhanced rider safety. The shell is made from PC-ABS blend material that helps achieve dual certification for it.
The ventilation on this helmet has been done in an effective method. The airflow remains fluent via the top air duct as the air passes towards the rear without any obstructions. This helps achieve in providing good comfort for the rider. It also gets multi-channel EPS along with EPS for cheek pads as well. The inner padding is removable as well as bacteria-proof to ensure durability.
IGN-4 comes with a polycarbonate (PC) anti-scratch coated visor fitted with a Pin-Lock 30 anti-fog shield. There is also a visor-locking mechanism that helps protect the rider in case of any mishap. It also features a sun-visor inbuilt for added comfort. Ignyte has priced this helmet at Rs 4,449 & it comes in 3 sizes - medium (580mm), large (600mm), and XL (620mm).
IGN-7
This helmet gets a different design and comes with a more soft interior padding. The soft fabric allows more comfort for the rider to cover long distances easily. It offers a double D-ring strap, a high-frequency Thermo Foam deflector, and a visor locking mechanism in terms of safety. Similar to the IGN-4, the IGN-7 also gets its shell made from the PC-ABS blend material.
The interior padding of this helmet is also removable and washable. The removable padding will help in maintaining hygiene in long-term usage. Some other key features of this helmet are - high-density multi-channel EPS, including the EPS for cheek pads and a polycarbonate (PC) anti-scratch coated visor fitted with a Pin-Lock 30 anti-fog shield. To enhance its looks, there is also a spoiler at the back.
Ignyte is offering the IGN-7 at a price of Rs 4,699 and in 3 different sizes that include - medium (580mm), large (600mm), and XL (620mm).
